A California man returned to his Bel Air home over the weekend to find a naked man inside, police say.
The homeowner, Mat Sabz, says when he asked the man what he was doing, he replied, "This is my house." Freaked out by the encounter, Sabz says he retreated and called police. Before police arrived, however, the nude intruder -- later identified as 34-year-old Paul Kiyan -- made himself at home, trying on clothes in Sabz's bedroom and swimming in his backyard pool, police say.
Kiyan also killed Sabz's two pet parakeets by stomping on them, security footage reveals. "The other bird knew what was going on," Sabz says. "You can hear the bird screaming and he did the same thing with the second bird. And that kind of changed everything when we saw that he killed these two defenseless animals." Kiyan has been charged with burglary and animal cruelty, according to Beverly Hills Police.
