A month after a California girl sucker-punched an opposing basketball player during a youth game, her mother has been charged for encouraging the on-court violence.
La Puente resident Latira Shonty Hunt, 44, has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and battery in connection with the incident, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
