NASA says the Orion Spacecraft will be nearly impossible to spot as it makes it splashdown off the coast of San Diego Friday.
They say the capsule will appear very small in the sky and will descend at a high rate of speed making it difficult to spot even with binoculars or telescopes.
If you're thinking of venturing out to the water, the splashdown zone is about 50-miles off the coast of San Diego between San Clemente Island and Catalina Island. The area has already been restricted and is being monitored by the U.S. Coast Guard to keep civilian vessels from entering the recovery zone.
Authorities say if you breech the splashdown zone you could be fined 20-thousand-dollars by the U.S. Coast Guard and face civil and criminal fines.
