Adopt a pet in San Diego: Rescue dogs and cats up for adoption are featured in partnership with the Rancho Coastal Humane Society animal shelter.

It will be “Dogs on the Cat Walk” during the second annual “Fashion, Flowers, and Fido” fashion show at the Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch at 5704 Paseo Del Norte in Carlsbad this Thursday, April 12th from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. See designer brand clothing from Carlsbad Premium Outlets, the world famous Carlsbad Flower Fields, and dogs available for adoption from your Rancho Coastal Humane Society (RCHS) accompanying the models down the “cat walk.” Proceeds from the event support RCHS programs and services for people and animals, the Simon Youth Foundation, and The Flower Fields Foundation.

RCHS Events Coordinator Kelly Peters describes Fashion, Flowers, and Fido as an evening of Food, Fashion, Fur, and Foam. “There will be a fashion show, food tasting, and a beer garden. Our first Fashion Flowers and Fido event was a major success. This year will be even better.”

Peters says, “We want to make sure that anyone who wants to join us….with or without their dog…can attend. There are a few tickets still available online at www.sdpets.org for the reduced price of only $25. Tickets on the night of the event will be $30.”

Guests will receive “Doggie Swag Bags” provided by Animal House Pet Care while supplies last. The fashion show will be a joint production of the Carlsbad Premium Outlets and Fashion Week San Diego.

Guests are welcome to bring their friendly, well-behaved dogs to Fashion, Flowers, and Fido. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Owners must clean up after their dogs. Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations. No dogs in heat. Limit of two dogs per person.
