David Bowie Statue Already Vandalized

Well that didn't take very long. Less than 48 hours after its unveiling, the statue of David Bowie has already been vandalized.

David Bowie fans in the U.K. successfully funded the ultimate tribute to the music icon.

The statue, titled Earthly Messenger, is located in Aylesbury’s Market Square, the same place where David Bowie first performed as Ziggy Stardust in 1972. Someone spray painted "feed the homeless first" on the sidewalk in front of the statue, and on the statue itself, the words, "RIP DB." But the vandal won't go unknown for too long. Aylesbury Deputy Mayor Mark Willis told the UK Metro, "There is a webcam on it 24/7 so whoever did it, we have got them on webcam." Is the graffiti a tribute to Bowie or pure vandalism?
