Meet Parker, an adorable lowriding gentleman who came to The Rescued Dog from the Humane Society of Imperial County.
When we first met Parker, his front left leg was in a cast because of an apparent fracture. When we brought Parker into our own vet, she discovered that Parker's fracture was open, and the resulting wound was infected. You would never have known that Parker was in pain--he has never been anything but cheerful and loving for as long as we've known him.
Parker is now officially on the mend, and ready for his forever home. With his adorably big noggin and his silly short legs, Parker turns heads wherever he goes and loves the attention. He's a real lover boy with his human friends, including kids, and he loves other dogs too. Parker even has a little love affair going with a kitty who lives at the vet's office. He's just an all-around easy-going, affable dude. If you're looking for a laid-back buddy to join you at the park, on a restaurant patio, or on the couch, Parker is your guy. Parker is about 4 years old, and weighs in at a svelte 40 pounds, 20 of which we are pretty sure is his head. If you'd like to meet Parker, please fill out an application on the The Rescued Dog website and an adoption coordinator will be in touch to schedule a meet and greet. http://therescueddog.org/dog-adoption-application/
